Pakistani Army chief departs for Islamabad

Tehran, IRNA – Field Marshal Asim Munir, the Commander of the Pakistan Army, and his accompanying delegation departed Tehran on Tuesday evening, following consultations with senior Iranian officials.

During his brief, several-hour visit to Tehran, the Commander of the Pakistani Army met and held talks with President Masoud Pezeshkian, Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council Major General Mohsen Rezaei, and Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.
