Iran vows stronger defense in response to threats

Tehran, IRNA – Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics, Mehrdad Akhlaghi, stresses that Iran’s response to repeated threats is focused on strengthening its preparedness and defensive capabilities rather than engaging in a war of words.

In a social media post on Wednesday, Akhlaghi said that he has devoted the first hour of his working day to meeting the needs of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Aerospace Force and the Army’s Air Defense Force.

The official added that Iran is focused on achieving its objectives through new technologies and turning threats into greater preparedness and more effective defensive capabilities.

Akhlaghi also stressed that the Iranian people will defend their homeland at any cost.
